Access Device Functionality FL4/AS3

Is there any way for a SWF2Go FL4 application to gain access to the WRT API or Device functions? Specifically, I'm trying to (1) Disable auto-rotation and (2) suspend/resume the game playback when the application is suspended/resumed by the user. Apparently the FL libraries for doing these things are only AS2/FL3.1 supported, so for FL4, people are recommending making calls to the WRT container or Carbide environment. Is there any way to do something similar in the SWF2Go environment?

.swf works fine until launched from it's Icon

I have a an animation with a voiceover lasts about 7 min's. I have posted a version on the Ovi store for S40 phones and all is well. the swf works just fine on S60 phones and passes all Nokia tests, until I package it in a .sis file using SWF2GO. I can load the application no problem every thing goes where it's suppost to except now when I launch the very same .swf from the icon the .swf file fails on incoming calls, if I find the .swf and launch it manualy no problem passes all test - 'WHY IS THIS' - it's driving me mad I have a bunch more content to add to Ovi but need to sort this issue, can any body please advise me

I’m working on a Flash Lite project which needs to download a file from an external server and download it onto the phone as well as add notifications to the phone calendar. Originally we were planning on using Kuneri Lite, until Kuneri informed us that they are no longer supporting/providing commercial licenses for that product. I’m therefore looking for an alternative that will allow us to easily recreate this functionality and was wondering if SWF2GO would be a good option. Does SWF2Go have already written download and calendar plugins? How easy is it to use SWF2GO to add these functions to a flash lite project?

I had reinstall for a second time swf2go 2.5 pro but whe i try to insert the license i have always a message for a case sensitive error, but a copy and past from your email license message..
I'm installing on windows 7 enterprise.

Server Not Found Problem with flash lite + PyS60

Hello, I purchased the swf2go 2.5 (newest version), I made a test with your ready made application "Be My Lips". Your Python embeded version works fine and it communicates with python server, but when I manually embed PyS60 inside the staging folder of BeMyLips and compile it in swf2go to produce something exactly similar to your embeded version, after installing and lauching the flash lite Py application (be my lips) it gives me the following error"Server not found"; I don't know where I went wrong with compilation? should I play with installation path? or Options?
Knowing that I checked "Enable Background server" and selected Python for s60.
I also noticed that although the default.py file is in the staging folder, but the swf2go is not including it in the .sis package !
I'm testing on N81 nokia mobile phone.
Your help is highly appreciated !

SIS certificate error during install..

Hi, i write for the problem of symbian certificate...i have to sign a simple application that not require some particular API, infact the application make only simple web call via http to fill a grid and write some local data in a shared object on the device(user and password to use app). I sign the application with your certificate and generate a file .sis . When i try to install, after some default questions, i have a message that sound like this "error in the certificate. contact the manufacter".
I compile also another app (that have the same functionality....) and the sis work good...
which is the problem?
I have also Pubblisher ID but i don't want use a developer certificate joined to a specific IMEI..

Can you help me??

Flash lite SEND sms VIA python without EDITOR !

As I'm new to python scripts and integration between flash lite and PyS60, I'd apprciate if someone can upload a simple sms application that uses flash lite 1.1 to send sms via PyS60. so that the Device won't show the SMS Editor please !
Can we achieve this integration in swf2go ?

When I try to compile my main.swf into sis, I get this

I'm not sure what those errors means and
I've tried every possible solution I could think of but I keep getting this errors.

sis file larger than c: (phonememory)

Hello,

Is it possoble to install sis-files to the phones' card memory (F:/) even if the filesize is bigger than the phone memory?

E.g. phone memory is 70 MB, sis-file ist 120 MB and card memory is some GB.

I am afraid that at first the whole file will be unpacked to phonememory which isn't big enough, before trying to copy to the card memory.

If that's the case is there any woraround?

S60 5th Edition compliant

I am wondering, is there a way to enable 5th Edition support in swf2go?

I just downloaded the app and I'm deliriously happy with the simplicity involved in building an application. However when I install the app I always get a warning that this application is not compatible. However, it most certainly is 5th edition compatible, so I don't want people to see that warning.

I have the ability to export the pkg, edit the compatibility, and resign. If I have to do that, I will. However, it would be much nicer if this feature was available via swf2go instead.

I've read through the help file and browsed the forums here, and so far I can't find any info on 5th edition capabilities. So, if it's been posted, forgive my question and just point me in the right direction. Otherwise I'm looking forward to feedback on this item.

Is the Nokia SDK required?

Hi all,

We are interested in this product for our development efforts. However, before we'll pay 200 dollars to get it, I would like to know if swf2go requires an SDK installed to function? Because the main problems I've been having is with the Nokia SDK (which is a horrible piece of software).

I know the previous versions required an SDK installed, but i'm not sure about version 2. So does swf2go v2 run standalone?

Hi there, i am working on a project where i have a main swf and about 500 other swf files. Can i use swf2go to add ALL files on my sis file?
Tried other swf to sis tools, but so far none worked due to the amount of swfs that i am working with.
